Doing this one thing for 20 minutes a week will give you the Best Body of your LIFE!
It literally takes 20 minutes, maximum, but you have to make yourself do it…every week. And when you do, not only will you see your body transform, you will increase energy and reduce stress. So what is this tiny little secret? Plank holds? Squats? Standing on your head?
It’s called PLANNING YOUR MEALS.
Don’t role your eyes at me and don’t make excuses. Don’t tell me you don’t have time and that your life is busier than everyone else’s. Here’s the thing, the busier you are, the more you need to do it. If it weren’t for food being on every single corner and easily available at our fingertips, you would be forced to do it.
So just give it a try for one week. Sit down with a calendar and plan your meals. This doesn’t mean that you have to become a gourmet chef or that you have to cook every day, you can easily write in “left overs” in many occasions. But give every day of the week a healthy meal. You can even speed up this process by getting the family involved. Have your children or spouse choose their healthy meal of choice one night too.
So you’ve made your weekly calendar…is the food just going to appear in front of you when you think about it? No, but planning is half the battle so I’m glad we’ve gotten through that obstacle. After you’ve planned, you now can make your grocery list from the calendar.
Here’s the bonus that I didn’t even mention yet. This will also save you MONEY, like a lot of money. Go to the grocery store ONCE a week (I guess that saves you time too, huh?) and don’t forget your list. You’re welcome.
Now put those meals into action. You have all your supplies, you aren’t flying by the seat of your pants all the time and saying “What’s for dinner?” is not such a stressful question. Another helpful hint would be to put the weekly menu in a location that the entire household can easily see so they know what’s expected for meals too.
It’s worth it…it’s worth the time you’ll save in the long run, the money you’ll save and definitely, it’s worth the improved health that you and your family will experience. Less eating out, more clean meals…your great grandparents would be proud.
